Investment use, milestones and route to market
Capital is staged against technical, commercial and operational evidence so the first deployment can lead directly into repeatable delivery.
Proposal section
12. Investment Use and Route to Market
NashMarkAI seeks investment sufficient to establish its first institutional deployment and build the capacity for UK expansion and global rollout. The £150,000 initial programme is the first funding stage. The overall investment commitment will reflect the agreed rollout strategy, delivery capacity and geographic ambition.
The proposed approach is to secure a staged capital commitment, with funds released against defined milestones. This allows technical preparation, customer engagement and delivery planning to progress together, reducing the need to begin a separate fundraising exercise at every stage.
12.1 Initial Deployment Programme £150,000
The investment builds on an existing published reference implementation. The supplied assessment reports matching hashes for all 100 embedded files and successful execution of all 12 reference tests. The initial programme extends that foundation into a measured institutional deployment plan. See Independent Evidence and Limitations.
| Workstream | Funded deliverable |
|---|---|
| Connector integration | Configure and test selected source-system connections, data mappings and reconciliation procedures. |
| Performance validation | Measure throughput, concurrency, storage growth and recovery against the agreed reference workload. |
| Hardware and commissioning | Establish a quoted infrastructure specification and repeatable installation procedures. |
| Deployment assurance | Determine applicable requirements, reuse existing governance evidence and complete the documentation required for the selected deployment. |
| Operational service preparation | Define monitoring, database and web-service administration, hardware maintenance, recovery responsibilities and costed SLA commitments. |
| Commercial validation | Establish measured delivery costs, a five-year service budget and an equivalent competitor comparison. |
The programme will produce an evidence pack, a priced deployment specification and a defined operating service. Reusable work completed during this stage will be reflected in subsequent customer estimates to avoid counting the same development expenditure twice.
12.2 Staged Capital Commitment and Rollout Funding
Further funding will support the commercial capacity required to secure and deliver contracts. Its scale will follow the investor’s agreed participation in the UK business, international rollout or wider NashMarkAI ecosystem.
| Funding stage | Purpose | Basis for determining capital |
|---|---|---|
| Initial programme | Integration, testing, commissioning preparation and measured economics | Proposed £150,000 allocation |
| UK commercial launch | Customer acquisition, procurement readiness, delivery partners and initial installation capacity | Costed staffing plan, procurement timetable and prospective deployment schedule |
| UK expansion | Concurrent installations, recurring maintenance capacity and supplier coordination | Signed contracts, customer payment terms and peak working-capital requirement |
| Global rollout | Regional partnerships, market adaptation, partner training and international support | Market-specific delivery plans, partner commitments and customer opportunities |
The funding requirement will be calculated from the timing of expenditure and receipts. Customer deposits and milestone payments can fund part of installation delivery; recurring service receipts support ongoing operation. The investment must cover the remaining cash requirement, business development and an agreed operating buffer.
A larger institutional round can accelerate several workstreams in parallel. Its allocation must identify the additional delivery capacity, market access and geographic expansion being purchased. Any founder secondary payment will be separately identified from capital available to the company.
12.3 Milestones and Release of Funds
Capital releases will be linked to agreed technical, commercial and operational outcomes.
| Milestone | Evidence supporting the next release |
|---|---|
| Reference deployment prepared | Defined scope, tested integrations, measured performance, quoted hardware and completed applicable assurance evidence |
| Commercial delivery prepared | Confirmed procurement route, costed service agreement, delivery resources and customer proposal |
| First customer contract secured | Executed agreement, payment schedule, implementation plan and acceptance criteria |
| Repeatable deployment demonstrated | Accepted installation, actual delivery costs, operating effort and reusable deployment assets |
| Expansion authorised | Further customer contracts or agreed market-entry commitments, supported by delivery capacity and cash-flow forecasts |
The investment agreement will define milestone acceptance, release timing and the treatment of delays. Commercial engagement and procurement preparation will begin alongside the initial technical programme so that deployment evidence can lead directly into contract opportunities.
12.4 Route to Market and Global Expansion
The first institutional engagement establishes the reference installation, customer economics and operating model. UK expansion then reuses the resulting connectors, commissioning procedures, training material and maintenance practices.
International rollout will combine those assets with regional partners providing local integration, hardware supply, procurement knowledge and operational support. Each market will have a defined entry budget and delivery plan.
Changes to incumbent NHS arrangements may create opportunities for migration, replacement or additional capability. These will be pursued against confirmed procurement decisions and customer requirements. The wider commercial plan also includes separately commissioned consultancy, supplier-exit preparation and infrastructure services.
The investment objective is to establish a repeatable business that earns from implementation, hardware, consultancy and recurring operations, with capacity to expand across institutions and territories under the NashMarkAI brand.
